'Walking Among Us' — Hidden Identity Claims
Modern claims that Nephilim or related beings live concealed within human society, recognisable only by hidden markers.
The claim
Circulated across books, broadcasts and video platforms: that certain individuals are not fully human, and that physical tells — height, skull shape, eye anomalies, polydactyly, blood type — identify them.
What evidence exists
None of an examinable kind. The named markers all have documented ordinary explanations: polydactyly is a known genetic condition, rare blood types are catalogued in medical literature, and height variation is well understood.
Investigative problem
The claim is built so that no observation can disconfirm it — concealment is part of the theory. That makes it a story rather than a hypothesis, however entertaining.
