What archaeology shows
Experimental archaeology has repeatedly demonstrated moving and raising very large stones with period-available methods, and quarry sites, tool marks, ramps and unfinished blocks are documented at major monuments.
Status
SPECULATIVE, and it tends to underrate the documented ingenuity of ancient people.
